About
Saltire Project Solutions was founded in 2025 by Scott McMartin to offer a different kind of consultancy: practical, hands-on and without long-term commitments.
Scott started as an apprentice and worked his way up to managing director over 40 years in the chemical industry, including more than 24 years in project management and engineering design. Along the way he grew two businesses, including a design office taken from £2M to £14M turnover. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Measurement and Control and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
From 2023 to 2025 he was Director of Operations at Antonine Hub in Callendar Business Park, Falkirk. He wrote the specification for converting a three-level, 37,464 sq ft office building into flexible workspace and project managed the work. He set up the gym, recruited the café manager and created the café (which later expanded into Glasgow), line managed the centre, marketing and café teams, and was the main contact with IWG (Regus) on the managed service contract.
Today Scott also owns and operates a business centre in Dunfermline through sister company Saltire Spaces, and builds websites for small businesses and business centres as Saltire Web Design.
